Fed up with always being ill?

Happy New Year to you all! I'm super excited to send my first newsletter of 2024. As there are so many bugs doing the rounds at the moment, I thought you may find my hints and tips useful. 

Do you feel run down, susceptible to the latest bug doing the rounds and always have a sniffle or cough? It doesn’t mean you are a hypochondriac it could be your immune system is low due to a poor diet or your body is stressed and craving the wrong foods.

Up to 80% of all health problems are due to gut issues and if we can manage them more effectively then we can start to fight all these seasonal bugs.

There are many things that will help the gut, reducing alcohol and sugar intake, improving overall nutrition, increasing your water intake which stops dehydration and exercising more. I never believe that we should deprive ourselves of the things we like, and I support the 80/20 rule of 80% positive nutrition and 20% enjoying what you like. If we continually deprive ourselves, we will get frustrated, disillusioned, and finally we will go back to our old ways for comfort.

Improving our gut health can be simple with small changes but with positive outcomes. Not only will it help fight the bugs it will improve your sleep, stop fatigue and just make you feel more confident. Wellness equals happiness.
